• Vaccinations: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Rabies
• Travelers should also be up to date for measles/mumps/rubella (MMR), diphtheria/pertussis/tetanus (DPT)
• Rabies vaccination if traveling to rural areas.
• Travel warnings for: Dengue, Filariasis, Cutaneous leishmaniasis, Schistosomiasis, Cryptosporidiosis.
• Dengue, Cutaneous leishmaniasis, Filariasis are all carried by insects and travelers should avoid insect bites and use insect repellent with DEET(30%-50%).
• Schistosomiasis: avoid swimming in fresh water.
• Cryptosporidiosis: risk can be prevented by bottled water.
