• Vaccinations: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid

• Travelers should also be up to date for Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR), Diphtheria/Pertussis/Tetanus (DPT).

 

• Travel warnings for: Dengue, Histoplasmosis, Leptospirosis, and Cryptosporidiosis

 

Dengue is carried by insects so travelers should avoid insect bites and use insect repellent with DEET (30%-50%).

Histoplasmosis: avoid bat guano or bird droppings.

Leptospirosis: avoid swimming in fresh water.

Cryptosporidiosis risk can be prevented by drinking bottled water.
