- Travelers should be up to date on measles/mumps/rubella (MMR) diphtheria/pertussis/tetanus (DPT), Polio
- Rabies vaccination if traveling to rural areas.
- Yellow fever vaccination certificate is not required prior to entry into Argentina and Yellow fever is only present along the Boliva and Paraguay border.
- Travel warnings for: Malaria, Cryptosporidiosis
- Malaria present in certain areas including Salta, Jujuy, Misiones and Corrientes provinces.
- Chloroquine is the recommended antimalarial drug.
- Cryptosporidiosis risk can be prevented by bottled water.
