Vaccinations: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Rabies, Polio,

• Travelers should be up to date on measles/mumps/rubella (MMR), diphtheria/pertussis/tetanus (DPT), Polio.

• Rabies vaccination if traveling to rural areas.

Travel warnings for: Malaria, Dengue, filariasis, leishmaniasis, Schistosomiasis, Cryptosporidiosis.

• Malaria limited to one small focus in Sahara region in Ihrir and medication prophylaxis is therefore not recommended but travelers should protect themselves from insect bites.

• Dengue, filariasis, and leishmaniasis are carried by insects and travelers should avoid insect bites and use insect repellent with DEET (30%-50%)

• Schistosomiasis avoid swimming in fresh water.

• Cryptosporidiosis risk can be prevented by bottled water.
