Symptoms of diabetes

· Symptoms of diabetes result from high blood glucose(blood sugar) and dehydration.
Some people with undiagnosed diabetes may have no symptoms of diabetes despite having very high blood glucose levels.
Symptoms of diabetes include:
Increased appetite (polyphagia) with weight loss.
Increased thirst (polydipsia)due to dehydration.
Increased urination (polyuria) resulting from the diuretic effect of high blood glucose.
Paresthesias(tingling) resulting from nerve damage due to high blood glucose.
Recurrent blurred vision due to toxic effects of excessive blood glucose on the retina and lens of the eye.
Vaginal fungal infections due to impaired immune function with high blood glucose.
Dehydration.
Excessive fatigue.
Dizziness especially after meals.
These symptoms are all warning signs of diabetes and should be evaluated by your doctor.
