Scrotum rash

· Scrotum rash is the symptom of a patch of skin with a change in color or texture on the scrotum.

· Scrotum rash can result from inflammation of the skin (dermatitis) of the scrotum.

• The most common type of scrotum rash are:
· Contact dermatitis (from contact with soaps, latex, rubber, chemicals, cosmetics, detergents, poison ivy, poison oak)
· Tinea cruris (jock itch)
· Candidiasis
· Cellulitis (a bacterial infection of the skin)
· Intertrigo
· Seborrheic dermatitis (moderate scaling and skin flaking)
· Psoriasis of body folds (moderate patch type scaling)
· Erythrasma
· Scratching due to lice
