Night blindness
• Night blindness (Nyctalopia) is the symptom of impaired vision at night or in dim light.
• Night blindness can be caused by:
· cataracts (clouding of the lens)
· vitamin A deficiency
· disorders of the retina
• Night blindness patients typically have the symptom of not seeing stars in the sky at night.
• Night blindness should be evaluated by your doctor.
