Hand burning sensation
• Hand burning sensation is the symptom burning in or around the hand.
• Hand burning sensation can be a sign of:
· a peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage).
· heavy metal exposure or physical trauma (injury) to the nerves of the hand or arm.
· arthritis of the neck
· carpal tunnel syndrome (pressure on the nerve passing through the wrist)
· diabetes
• Hand burning sensation that persists or worsens should be evaluated by your doctor.
