Foreign body eye sensation
· Foreign body sensation is the feeling that there is something between the eyelid and the surface of the 
eye.
· Foreign body sensation may be due to:
scratch or abrasion of the cornea (clear part of the eye over the iris)
ulceration or infection of the cornea
trauma or scratch of the cornea
foreign body under the eyelid
eyelash rubbing the cornea
Foreign body eye sensation can be a serious condition and should be evaluated by your doctor
