Floaters
• Floaters are the symptom of seeing spots
• Floaters are most commonly the result of benign vitreous opacities (a bunching up of the jell within the eye-between the iris and the retina)
• Floaters can also be a sign of:
· posterior uveitis
· posterior vitreous detachment
· vitreous hemorrhage
• Floaters that persist or worsen should be evaluated by your doctor.
