Floaters

Floaters are the symptom of seeing spots

Floaters are most commonly the result of benign vitreous opacities (a bunching up of the jell within the eye-between the iris and the retina)

Floaters can also be a sign of:
· posterior uveitis
· posterior vitreous detachment
· vitreous hemorrhage

Floaters that persist or worsen should be evaluated by your doctor.
