• Epiphora is the symptom of tearing.
• Epiphora (tearing) can be a sign of:
· conjunctivitis (infection around the eye)
· foreign body in the eye
· inadequate tear drainage
· obstruction tear duct
· lower eye lid that is damaged or sagging
