• Dry mouth (xerostomia) is the symptom of insufficient saliva.
• Dry mouth can be a side effect of certain medications.
• Dry mouth can result from:
· Sjogrens syndrome
· obstructed salivary ducts
· Sarcoidosis
· Diabetes
· Lymphoma
• Dry mouth that persists or worsens should be evaluated by your doctor.
