Cold sweat
• Cold sweat is the symptom of sweating inappropriately, sweating in the absence of heat.
• Cold sweat can be a normal sweating response to fear or nervousness.
• Cold sweat occurring while asleep (night sweats) can be an early sign of cancer.
• Cold induced sweating can be a sign of Cold-induced sweating syndrome which is a genetic disorder in which there is paradoxical sweating in response to a cold environment, predominantly in the upper body.
• Cold sweat that persists or recurs should be evaluated by your doctor.
