Cold feet

Cold feet is the symptom of the sensation of either impaired blood flow or nerve dysfunction in the feet.

Cold feet can be a sign of:
· Raynaud’s phenomenon (uncontrolled arterial spasms)
· peripheral neuropathy (injury or dysfunction of peripheral nerves)
· impaired blood flow from obstructing plaque (cholesterol) in arteries going to the feet.
· hypothyroidism

Cold feet that persists or worsens should be evaluated by your doctor.
