Amaurosis
• Amaurosis is symptom of partial or complete loss of sight.
• Amaurosis can result from:
traumatic injury to the eye or back of the head
detached retina
obstruction of blood flow to the retina
obstruction of blood flow to the occipital lobe of the brain (stroke).
• Amaurosis should be evaluated by your doctor.
