Absent corneal reflex

Absent corneal reflex is symptom of the loss of the normal reflex of closing eye lid in response to irritation of the cornea (clear part of the eye).

• People who routinely use contact lenses may temporarily lose the normal corneal reflex.

Absent corneal reflex may indicate a neurological disorder and should be evaluated by your doctor.
