Abdominal wall pain

Abdominal wall pain is pain near the surface of the abdomen.

Abdominal wall pain is typically results from an injury to the muscle or tendons of the abdominal wall.

Abdominal wall pain may be referred from the diaphragm or result from a spinal cord injury.

Abdominal wall pain may be the first sign of an outbreak of herpes zoster (shingles) and may be present before the vesicular rash develops.
