Abdominal wall pain
• Abdominal wall pain is pain near the surface of the abdomen. 
• Abdominal wall pain is typically results from an injury to the muscle or tendons of the abdominal wall.
• Abdominal wall pain may be referred from the diaphragm or result from a spinal cord injury.
• Abdominal wall pain may be the first sign of an outbreak of herpes zoster (shingles) and may be present before the vesicular rash develops.
