Abdominal wall blueness
• Abdominal wall blueness can be the result of bruising or if diffuse may be referred to as cyanosis.
• Cyanosis is typically a bluish color of the skin from a lack of oxygen.
• Bruising is the escape of hemoglobin out of blood vessels into tissues and typically is a dark blue/ purple in color changing to green and yellow as it resolves overtime.
• Abdominal wall blueness should be evaluated by your doctor.
