Ureterolithiasis
Definition: Kidney stone that has moved into the tube between the kidney and bladder generally known as “passing a kidney stone”.
Overview: These tend to be the stones that cause symptoms due to the intermittent obstruction of the kidney that causes pain in the flank and the lower abdomen as it passes down the ureter.
