Kidney Failure

Kidney Failure (Renal Failure) is the rapid loss of kidney function.

Kidney Failure leads to the accumulation of water and toxins in the body.

Kidney Failure can lead to uremia (accumulation of urea toxins in the blood).

Kidney Failure can also leads to the accumulation of water and volume overload.

Kidney Failure can occur from:
· Sudden loss of blood volume
· Extreme dehydration
· Hemorrhage
· Shock
· Overwhelming infection such as sepsis

Kidney Failure can also occur as a side-effect of a medications or poisons.

Kidney Failure can also be related to liver failure. This is called Hepato-renal syndrome.
