Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm
A localized dilation of the abdominal aorta. Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm can most commonly occur in older individuals, typically 65 to 75 years of age. The prevalence among men over 60 years old varies is on the order of between 2-6%, and the majority of these cases do not cause symptoms. Other risks factors for this disorder include smoking, high blood pressure, family history( meaning a primary relative) and male sex. Clinical symptoms can include low back pain, flank pain, abdominal pain, groin pain.
